New Pet City
LUDLOW – Dave’s Pet City has opened a new location, at 433 Center St.
The new location has a wide array of supplies and treats for your favorite pets, as well as the company’s famous Do It Yourself dog wash tubs and grooming area.
Most importantly, it will have a friendly, experienced and knowledgeable staff that can help customers find exactly what they need in our new store.
Dave Ratner, owner and CIO (Chief Instigating Officer), recalls, “I started the soda company, Dave’s Soda City, in 1975. About three years later, I was in a supermarket, and noticed that they had more pet food than soda. I thought, hey, what a great idea for a store.”
Today, Dave’s has grown into a mini-chain of seven superstores with more than 100 employees, and has served customers and their pets in the community for 38 years and counting.
